Organ Crawl

Tuesday, July 5, 2011, 8:00 p.m -- 8:45 p.m.

When: Tuesday, July 5th, 8:00 p.m - 8:45 p.m.
Venue: Hemingway Center, Boise State University map

Boise State University has raised the funds to recondition their beautiful 3-manual Austin pipe organ (1953) located in the Hemingway Center on campus. The BSU Dept. of Music will show it off by hosting an “organ crawl” on the night of Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Dr. Mark Hansen, Chairman of the Department of Music at BSU, will give a short demonstration of the instrument, and then the organ and the chambers will be open to participants.

Transportation will be provided by the convention buses to those who have purchased the transportation package. To those who are not using the convention transportation package, the Hemingway Center is less than 2 miles from the Convention hotel. (That evening will still be scheduled as a “free evening” on the Convention program; the organ crawl is an optional event.)
